His Story

Born in Paris (France) the city of Romance, Art and Fashion, Christophe comes from a family of doctors. His grandfather was one of the best breast cancer expert in France and owned his own clinic in the north of France. His father is the one who brought to the medical industry the revolutionary Doppler still used nowadays by all doctors around the world. While studying business in a French Business school he started at the same time in 1991 his own business. Athena Group AG based in Vaduz (Liechtenstein) with branches in Paris and Andorra was first acting as luxury real estate agency before to become a Legal & Tax Advisor corporation that established over 2,500 offshore companies worldwide within 3 years. He sold this activity to organize Art exhibitions aound the world with the collection he started. "L'Art du Faux Collection" entered in 2000 the prestigious Guinness Book of Records as being the "Largest Collection in the World of Copies of Old Masters Paintings". With more than 100 exhibitions organized he decided to take a break in 2007 to focus on his new passion photography. He moved to Los Angeles and met after few weeks Jermaine Jackson from the Jackson 5. He worked with the Artist and his sister Janet Jackson and King of Pop Michael Jackson to organize the first Michel Jackson Humanitarian Award, project cancelled after the passing of the Artist. He then became the adviser to the familly and the manager of Jermaine Jackson. While working with the familly he developped a unique concept of ultra luxury fashion producing items made out of exotic leathers in unique pieces. This opened to him the doors of a prestigious Los Angeles based fashion house that Christopher became the President before to move on and go back to his own projects. He did more International Celebrities management working with Ralph Rieckerman (Scorpions) and legendary guitar player Steve Vai and organized their first Art exhibitions. Over the years he has acquired a great experience in events and Artist management and developped a massive network of Artist worldwide. Christophe D. PETYT is now focusing on Fine Art Photography. He is creating a collection of portraits of people from around the world. Each image shows emotions, cultural elements, expressions in a unique technique mastered in order to give birth to amazing oversized printed and framed images. He uses the best equipments to create his Art Pieces. He shoots with lenses and medium format camera by Hasselblad that is the finest camera ever built. He uses PROFOTO lighting found in the best studios. He prints his images on Fine Art Papers that are Quality Museum by Hahnemühle. His images once framed are to be showned in museums and prestigious Art Exhibitions and galleries around the world. Printed in very limited numbers and sold with certificates they become real Master Art Works that will enter in prestigious Art Collections. His "Water Sales Man in Marrakech" became one of his iconic image.
